This book seems to be geared to a group study or self-study. It has some interesting stories, but the audiobook structure isn't a great fit for a study with questions at the end of each chapter. Some of the stories were really compelling and had some good questions to get you thinking, while others were so-so and the questions seemed forced.

The stories of this book give hope. They provide inspiration and insight. The women sharing their personal stories here have walked through challenging waters. They’ve faced infertility, health struggles, family problems, doubt, human trafficking, loss, and fear. Each writer attributes her joy and contentment to the goodness of God and his work in her life. These accounts from their hearts will encourage your heart.

The sound and quality of the audiobook narration is excellent. I also purchased a paperback version in order to re-read some of my favorites.

This collection of stories of women’s heartbreaks and struggles exemplify over and over God’s strength, grace, mercy, and patience with and for us all. These stories showed vulnerability by the authors, giving us all hope that we are not defined by our circumstances, but through Jesus. These stories can help turn our own circumstances and life into a new purpose and restore us. The use of Bible verses were nicely inserted and I loved the section with each story that gave practical ways to encourage people to rethink about their own lives.
