I am a long-time fan of W.Bruce Cameron, and have listened to almost all of his books. He has never disappointed me when a new book/series comes out! When I read the description of Lily's Story, I knew it was going to be a sweet and meaningful story, and it sure was! I love reading about animals who beat the odds and end up with wonderful happy endings, and I love the "mushiness" of W. Bruce Cameron's stories. Lily is a puppy born and living in a rescue when "her girl", Maggie Rose, takes her into her heart and fights courageously, and sometimes mischievously to keep Lily. Lily grows into her superpowers and shows everyone her worth! I am getting ready to listen to the second Lily book right now and can't wait to see what happens next!

W.Bruce Cameron has chosen amazing narrators who are passionate about what they are doing to help listeners enjoy the book. Ann Marie Lee is so embedded into the story and doing all of the voices that I immediately have the visuals of being right there in the story. The stories are told from the dog's point of view, so it is fun to hear what the dog has to say about their world. I encourage all who love dogs and love feel-good animal stories to dive into the wonderful world of W. Bruce Cameron and feel like you are laying on the ground and all of these puppies and dogs are all over you! Go Lily, Go!
