Little Ida's Flowers is a short fantasy story for children by the Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen. It was first published in 1835. It was written for Ida Thiele, daughter of Mathias Thiele, folklorist and early benefactor of Andersen.
In the plot, a little girl named Ida is worried because her flowers are wilting. She is told that her flowers are tired because they have been dancing all night. Ida wants to see the dancing flowers with her own eyes.
