I loved this performance, until I showed up at Book Club having only read the first half of the book because this Audible is only Part 1! ALL the physical and Kindle copies my friends read had both parts 1 and 2. This is ridiculous!!!

Normally when I pick an audible version of a classic title, there are many different versions to choose from, which is the case here. How unfortunate, however, that I happened to pick this wonderfully-read version that is only the first half of the book. By the time it finished, I felt lost because I KNEW that there was a lot more that was supposed to happen in this book. It was only when I looked up the other versions that I realized this was only half the length of the others, and focused on the girls’ childhoods. Again, it was a great reading! But you don’t get to see the girls grow up in this edition. (I’d even be happy using another credit for a Part Two title added, since I do like this narrator!)

I really enjoyed this version of the book. I was surprised when it ended... I thought I was getting the Good Wives part as well. Still, I did enjoy this title.

I love the story!!! Such a great heartfelt novel. Overall I am sad that is only has part one and is missing the second part.
