I normally enjoy Harlan Coben’s stories, but this one falls short of his normal splendour.
The characters are clunky and unnatural. Their motivations are unrealistic and weak.
Too much time is spend trying to build suspense at the expense of the flow of the story…. I didn’t enjoy it very much at all.
