Per usual, the characters in this story are well defined , well described and seem so very real. Box has created a whole new situation, but with some characters we know well and admire. They’re so believable! Action, excitement, humor - everything needed to catch and keep the reader’s interest. I’d recommend this book to those who enjoy the well told story of a master storyteller!

Another rock'em, sock'em Joe Pickett novel and as enjoyable as all the rest.

This book takes place close to home. There are bad guys about and, of course, Joe and Nate are in the middle of it. Just when you think Nate is about to go silent while he tracks down one of the bad guys, he gets arrested for the very crime he trying to help solve. That creates some twists and turns, but it all gets figure out.

Really enjoyed this listen.
