I've tried multiple times with Roberto Santiago. I want to like his books. They're written originally in Spanish, which I like, and they look fun. Los Gamers Piratas was the third series I've tried from him, but this time I couldn't even get my kids to finish it and there was only an hour left in the story. I don't know quite what it is that rubs us the wrong way about his stories. With this one maybe it was the plot that was bipolar. Are they gamers? Superheroes? Anyway, we won't be wasting more of our time with his books.
