One of the aspects of ministry that I think I miss most since retiring is the opportunity to lead members of my congregation on the journey from the Upper Room on Maundy Thursday to the Empty Tomb on Easter Sunday. These services were usually a little different to the format of regular services in that I included several non-Biblical readings to help us to enter into the experiences of those first century witnesses. This year, with churches being closed and people having to rely on television services or internet link-ups, I thought it might be helpful to some people to have the details of these services available in written form.
