I read the book years ago and loved it, so wanted to hear the audio. The narrator had a great voice but seemed to rush through the story a little faster than normal. Romance novels have changed a lot since this story was written and so have my tastes. Still, I enjoyed listening to it. Great sexual tension.

Would you consider the audio edition of Mackenzie's Mission to be better than the print version?

No, the narrator's intonation and inflections were off at times and he could have done a much more masculine hero's voice. Considering how often it was mention how deep and rumbling his voice was. A bit of a disappointment in that department.

What does Dennis Boutsikaris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He didn't improve the book.

Loins were mentioned way too many times but that is to be expected with the publish date. Linda Howard is still a great story teller.

I read this series many years ago and I loved it. I like getting audio books of my favorite stories and I was happy to buy this one. The narrator was ok. Not as dramatic as others I have listened to.
