Previously part of the Magical Midlife Kickstarter. This is a bonus story that plays into elements in Magical Midlife Battle. It should be listened to AFTER Magical Midlife Alliance. It isn't necessary to the overall series arc, but rather a fun little aside into the lives of the Ivy House Crew.

Edgar does not cheat in flower shows. He might use a magically enhanced serum, but anyone could do that. It's not his fault the other competitors don’t know magic exists!

But when the Ivy House crew goes to the pre-show to support him, it becomes clear that someone should've been watching Edgar much more carefully. What he's done is way worse than overgrown flora.

While Jessie is dealing with that, she gets a shock as she discovers photos of her ex with his girlfriend…turned fiancée. And while the flood of emotions can be ignored, the desire to show off Austin on social media is not.

After putting Mr. Tom in charge of the flower fiasco, she decides to take Austin on his perfect date. Her goal: to have one thing go right in her life. Just one thing!

This was one of the best, the battle with the attacking shifters was great. The ending left me wanting more and wondering when the next book is coming. I loved it all, excellent narration.

I really enjoyed this novella & chance to dive back in with Jessie and the crew. Austin is just the best book boyfriend ever & you can’t help but fall in love with the entire Ivy House crew. I hope this series keeps going for years to come. Nicole Poole is brilliant as always with her narration. Her ability to take advantage of the humor and emotion is fantastic.

KF Breene and Nicole Poole are one heck of a duo in these audio books. KF Breene writes an amazing and hilarious cast of characters and Nicole Poole brings them to life. I love this short sneak peek at the crew and a "normal" outing. so so hilarious

"Magical Midlife Flowers" may be labeled a novella, but it packs just as much humor, heart, and chaos as any full-length Leveling Up book! This 7.5 story is a delightful bonus adventure that lets readers spend more time with Jessie, Austin, and the always unpredictable Ivy House crew. What starts as a simple flower show spirals into a magical mess only Edgar could create—and of course, Jessie ends up right in the middle of it.

KF Breene’s signature mix of laughter and lovable madness shines here. From Mr. Tom’s over-the-top antics to Jessie’s emotional roller coaster after discovering her ex’s engagement, this story manages to balance the funny and the heartfelt perfectly. Her plan to make one perfect date with Austin had me smiling the whole way through—it’s a sweet, lighthearted break from the bigger battles while still delivering plenty of the humor and warmth fans love.

Nicole Poole once again nails every moment of the narration. Her timing, tone, and ability to make each character distinct turn this novella into a laugh-out-loud experience that feels like catching up with old friends.
