Do you want to become mentally sharper and quicker? Do you want to be able to save time and calculate large numbers on the go while you're shopping or adding up a bill at a restaurant? Do you want other people to notice how you seem to not need a calculator, how you seem like such a genius? If yes, then this audiobook is for you.
Mental math is the ability to solve math problems in your head, without the need to write or use a calculator. And it has all of the benefits implied above and much more. Preliminary studies have even shown that mental math can improve your emotional health as well. So, why not engage in mental math problems?
This audiobook is for students and even interested adults. It can be used for serious practice, competition between two or more people, or for a fun night with family and/or friends. The first section consists of two-digit addition questions, and the second chapter consists of three-digit addition questions. The narrator will say a question and give the listener a certain amount of time to come up with an answer before proceeding on to the next question.
You can also access our other mental math audiobooks in this series on subtraction, multiplication, and division.

I listened to this one with a family member who is in middle school and is aiming to sharpen his math skills. I thought the first chapter (with the two-digit numbers) was a better pace for him. The second chapter was more difficult, especially given that you’re not supposed to use paper to derive your answers.
But it’s definitely a good resource and way for kids to improve their math skills. I also think there are enough questions here that it wouldn’t get old after just one listen.
Nice resource for budding math whizzes
