Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
One kiss. That’s all it takes to fall for the one man I can’t have.

He’s arrogant, ruthless, and dripping with billionaire confidence.
He wants to buy the sacred pool my family has protected for decades.
To him, it’s just land and profit. To me, it’s everything.

Our fathers fought over this land for thirty years.
Now, with my father gone, I’m the last line of defense.

Orson is relentless. Infuriating. But utterly irresistible.
When he kisses me, every bit of my resistance crumbles.

I should hate him. I want to hate him.
Turns out, the line between hate and desire is paper-thin.

This is a rich man/ poor girl story that shows that it’s possible to meld two worlds together, despite differences in bank accounts and views.

Orson and Scarlet have families with a long history. They do not understand each other at all, until they take the time to get to know and empathize with each other. Truths are revealed and sometimes difficult to swallow, but it’s always for the best.

I’m not a fan of virtual voice, but it probably would have been okay if there was a male voice. It’s in first person, with a woman’s voice for both parts, so I didn’t enjoy it as much. I did like the accent though.
