When you offer therapy to monsters, it’s wise to keep a sword handy.

Master swordsman Logan Snow thought trading epic quests for a cozy counseling center would be his happily-ever-after. After all, when you delve into a giant’s dark past or advise an ogre with anger issues, what could go wrong?

When a letter arrives bearing the grim news that Logan’s old mentor has been captured by a powerful warlock and imprisoned in his citadel, he must dust off his sword and attempt a desperate rescue. He rallies a group of unlikely heroes including Tressa, an alluring and deadly magician, and Xander, a lightning-fast cheetahman.

The warlock unleashes vicious creatures to stop them, and they discover that his citadel is a heavily guarded fortress of death. As the dangers grow, tensions rise among the team, and Logan finds his therapy skills are just as needed as his sword.

Can Logan rescue his mentor and escape the warlock’s citadel, all while bringing much-needed therapy to this fantasy world? Buy Monster Therapist and find out today!

The story is probably good. The AI reading it has weird inflections, odd pronunciations, will say a word correctly once, then change the pronunciation, sometimes several times, it’s jarring and weird and drags you out of the narrative. Pay for a real voice actor; stop being cheap . Also, just stop using AI; it’s literally the worst and contributes nothing, which you can clearly hear in the narration of this book.

The virtual voice is terrible

Virtual voice made everything flat and emotionless. The story had an interesting twist on helping everyone, including the monsters, but was ruined by not having a real voice actor

Virtual voice was terrible, I was not able to even finish the book

Honestly I didn’t make it far in the story. The writing has promise but the AI narrator was uninspired. Dead pan, the voices for all of the characters were the same. But it was free so I shouldn’t expect Heath Miller.

Needs a real narrator

If you are a fan of the old school sword and sorcery fantasy books of the eighties and nineties, you will enjoy Monster Therapist. This book is a fun read, full of memorable characters and hair-raising action. The best part is the book is clean so you do not have to be on your guard wondering if the next page will have some raunchy scene that did not need to be there. Paul Regnier is an accomplished author with a vivid imagination and the skill to tell a good story.

The reading is tedious beyond belief. Not a technology belongs in literature. Please pay people to do this
