The story hooked me and the concept. It took a little bit to get invested the world built itself slowly while trying to introduce a lot at once, it so it seemed to me. I'm certain reading it would be an improvement pace wise though the audiobook is still good. I liked the narrator though her deliver was somewhat flat at times. she didn't convey much emotion on some characters and shined on others. I hope this doesn't seem too critical as I am looking forward to what's next when another book comes out.

I got this book with my last credit. but forced myself to finish it so I could save money since i couldn't return it. in the beginning it was boring. the ending was blah. the book is called monsters but there was nothing scary about it. it remind me these dumb shows like vampire dairy and others. the narrator sounded cute. but her performance had me falling most of the time. I have alot more to say but I won't. I'm just glad it's over. in my opinion I wouldn't waste my time with this book, but to each there own.
