It's an Ok story, several twists. I was not expecting the explicit sex, which came as a surprise listening to the book in the car with my husband. Not our kind of shared read, and it was just so not necessary. The language was also unnecessarily crude. I think books should have ratings, or at least warnings. You hear of an author based on sweet Christmas stories and when you listen to another book you're shocked and basically disgusted that you spent money on this trash. Besides the X rating, the narrator was not good. All of her male voices were basically the same.

This is the first book by this author that I’ve read but won’t be my last. This is a lovely romantic story that I dearly enjoyed. The ending is perfect! Thanks Debbie Macomber for writing such a lovely story.
