The Lord prepared the mind of Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772) since childhood so that he may author and publish the Third Testament of the Lord’s Second Advent. The Lord appeared to Swedenborg in Person when Swedenborg was 57 years old, and sent him on his appointed Divine Mission. For the next 27 years Swedenborg was in dual consciousness, able to talk to the departed and to explore the entire spiritual world, while at the same time, able to carry out his daily duties and tasks.

Swedenborg kept daily records of his explorations and interviews with the people of heaven and hell. The Lord sat with Swedenborg as he was authoring in Neo Latin the nearly 30 volumes of the Lord’s Second Advent. Swedenborg only wrote what the Lord was putting in his rational mind what to think and what to write. The last book of the collection called the Writings of Swedenborg, was published in 1771 and was titled The True Christian Religion (also translated as True Christianity).

The Third Testament represents the Rational Mind of the Lord God Jehovah-Jesus. The Lord has made His Second Advent in the rational mind of every human being, past, present, and future. A few people today may be aware that their thinking capacity has increased by a discrete degree in rationality. But most people are not yet conscious of the great change in them that is produced by the Lord’s Second Advent. The change is especially noticeable while reading the Old and New Testaments. This is because the Third Testament uncovers and explains many spiritual secrets that are hidden in the text within the literal and historical sense of the Two Testaments.

This book in two volumes (4A and 4B) may be of assistance to some people, by opening up the entire subject of the Second Coming and why it took place in the 18th century. These heavenly secrets deal with the conditions of people in the afterlife of heaven and hell, and how we must cooperate with the Lord in our regeneration of character before we pass on. Everything written in this book is directly based on the Writings of Swedenborg.
