This is the remarkable story of a day in the life of one woman, Clarissa Dalloway, the people in her circle, and those touching upon her friends and acquaintances.

The reader made the story very disjointed by the phrasing. The pause between Main and Street for instance. The story never would be a favorite. The reading made it worse.

the pauses in the narration are very odd, it's reminiscent of being in elementary school and listening to kids reading it out loud. it bugged me too much to continue.

I only got a few minutes in.

There is unnecessary music constantly playing in the background, the sound quality of the recording is poor, and the cadence of the reading is odd, like it was the first time the reader ever read aloud. It was all very distracting and I found it unlistenable.

Bad Audio

Couldn't listen to one minute. Horrible performance with mid-sentence stops and a strange way of reading. To make it even worse, there is background music that is actually foreground because it competes with the narrator -if I may call him so- for one's ears.

Worst performance I've come across on Audible

The recording sounds like it was done in a phone booth. It was painful to try to listen.

I downloaded the one that was narrated by Annette Bening and it was superb.

This is a terrible recording
