The man who inspired the world's fastest-growing religion

Muhammad presents a fascinating portrait of the founder of a religion that continues to change the course of world history. Muhammad’s story is more relevant than ever because it offers crucial insight into the true origins of an increasingly radicalized Islam. Countering those who dismiss Islam as fanatical and violent, Armstrong offers a clear, accessible, and balanced portrait of the central figure of one of the world’s great religions.

The biography was great and informative if we could only learn from the prophet of his love for others

Ms. Armstrong understands Islam better than most Islamic scholars and even greater number of lifelong Muslims. The chapter on unity of all Abrahamic faiths will enrage fundamentalist Muslims, fundamentalist Christians, and pro-Israel reviewers equally—I am willing to bet. Give this Audible entry an unbiased try if you dare. You will be transformed by its sobriety and tempted to think for yourself beyond your biases—if you dare.

A Sufi’s View

Good book, but apologetic with 'remembering how things were at the time' base. It's good to keep context, but not good to overlook/dismiss actions taken in the context.
