This is a quirky, lighthearted mystery that I ultimately enjoyed. Susie is a determined klutz with a streak of immaturity and materialism, and there were moments when I found myself thinking, “What are you doing?!” Still, that didn’t stop me from enjoying her journey. Overall, it was an entertaining read. I wish I had read Blind Ambition first, as jumping in here made the story feel a bit disjointed at times. Now, I know what my next book will be.
