I love everything about this series! The characters are so fully realized and lifelike and likable, the author’s research into the time and culture is obvious, without ever being an info-dump, and the narrator is perfect, perfect, perfect. If you like historical mysteries with a bit of whimsy, this series is for you. I cannot wait for the third book, and while the author has said this series is a trilogy, I deeeeply hope she will write many more. I want to go adventuring with Blix and Hildy again and again.
