Mustang and Tammy were quite the pair - strong and mouthy as well as hot and heavy. A thoroughly enjoyable story.
Thomas did a good job with all of the multitudinous voices and his performance. It wouldn't have been the same without him.

I can't say enough good things about Thomas Locklear's voice. It is just incredible. In this series specifically I just love the different characters he's channeled. This one really got to me. It was powerful and emotional and everything I wanted from this book. Can't wait for the rest of the bad boys!

You betcha! Witty banter, laugh out loud dialogue? Of course, this IS Piper Stone after all. Mystery, intrigue and a well planed, tight plot? Again, no worries, it’s Piper Stone. Absolutely, positively the best narration on the face of the earth? OMG yes! It’s Thomas Locklear. It just does not get any better! I absolutely loved every single minute! I wish I could give this one ten plus stars. It really was that good!

When Danni and Mustang are in any proximity to each other, sparks fly in both fury and lust - and usually lust wins out. Danni’s fiery, stubborn passions are Mustang’s stubborn, Alpha passions clash and connect in the best possible way. There’s an interesting mystery to unravel, surrounding the cattle auctions and potential animal abuse, as Danni’s job as the new vet in town puts her in the heart of the situation, since she can’t seem to just let anything be. The intensity of their chemistry infuriates and attracts them to each other, and eventually they realize that it goes much more beyond purely the physical. There’s also a sweet side story with a dog that ties into Mustanug’s past that is a really nice, heartwarming, as well as heartbreaking, side of him. All the pieces come together quite well, with plenty of action, banter, steam, and tenderness to make the story complete.

The narration is really good too! The male voices are the perfect level of gravelly gruffness, and for a male narrator doing the female voice, which is usually trickier than the other way around, he does a good job of still pulling emotion out of the character.

If it wasn't heat, it was action, drama, and suspense throughout the whole story. When I wasn't squirming I was biting my nails. What a tear jerrker of an ending that I didn't expect. I enjoyed this. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.
