"What a superb story. Kept me up late for 2 nights." (Amazon Review)

How often have you said, "If I had my time again, I would ...."

On the eve of his 70th birthday, Graham Henderson gets the chance to re-live his adult life when he is transported back to his 18-year-old self in 1970 - with all his memories intact.

Must he live the same life the second time around? Will he be able to find a partner to share the re-run of his life? What about changing things for the better in the wider world - is it possible? Surely, he can do something!

Eventually, he discovers he is not the only person to have this experience, and this helps him to find the cause of his jump in time. But it does not solve everything .....

This book is worth the time. Good character development and time travel concept. AI narration is still lacking. It has been my experience that virtual voice narration makes it more difficult to get drawn into a story. It took two tries to get through this book, despite it being a great story.

Good story and time travel concept!

Plot. A 70-year-old man suddenly becomes 17, jumping back to the 70s. He avoids meeting the girl who was to become his wife, the mother of his children, and the grandmother of his grandchildren, and decides to live a different life. It is a poignant testament to his lack of devotion to his family, but it is rarely dwelt upon in the book.

He attempts to make occasional changes to the future, like mass murderers, 9/11, the COVID pandemic, etc.. Most efforts are not successful. He falls for a fellow "time traveler" obsessed with Princess Diana. The guy lives a mundane life. It's hard to stay with this story - nothing is exciting.

Narration by AI is monotone and boring - no inflection or oomph at all - won't be listening to another AI-narrated novel.

I have the same enthusiasm for this book as the narrator. Meh.

The story was ok...very similar to Replay, which was better. This book did go into a reason for the phenomenon, though, which i liked. The explanation could have been a little more fleshed out. The AI narration was better than some I've heard. Worth a listen.

Familiar story

I didn’t have high hopes based on a review but I was very surprised. Good story and very good characters. Despite being very thorough, the ending leaves something for the imagination. I do recommend.

Quite fascinating

Boring and slow with no backstory at all. Virtual voice is pretty good. If you want good time travel stories worth your time, not to mention a human narrator, check out The Middle Falls series by Shawn Inman.

Boring, couldn't get into it!
