The stories that are told are good, for me who is totally new to mythologies it's helpful to have so many introductions to different mythologies.

With that said, the book would be so much better if there was an index for all chapters, now they are just numbered.
It's not smooth at all if you want to skip something or revise

love it. was easy to follow and very enlightened. I was amazed to hear about HATSHEPSUT in the Egyptian story. I studied her in college and was fascinated by the things she accomplished.

Great book, story and performance.

Lewis definitively does a good job of giving an overview of each mythology. It just gets repetitive after a while, which makes sense because many of these myths were made as morality tales for their times. Therefore, it is not surprising that the same themes continue to reoccur. This however does not make for a very interesting listen. The narrators make it a bit more palpable but this is book built for the skip and bookmark buttons.
