I have to say it was finally getting rid of Grandma Ruthie!!

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I have and I really enjoy her narrations. She is very adept at keeping each characters voice the same through each book. I think she is very talented.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Oh, I did! This is one of the reasons long-haul trucking is so enjoyable now--excellent books to treat the ears!!

I really like Molly Harper's writings. Each book is just hilarious. I get lost within the theme and the characters. Might be the Kentucky thing, but having lived there she has the small town society down pat from hunters to busybodies. Well done.

Love the reader's ability to translate the snarky/sarcastic voice so well!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jane is awesome! She's a timex (takes a lickin & keeps on ticking)! Dick is an awesome character too! Poor Gabriel has some real competition to stand out among the quircky cast.

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?

She is the voice of Jane or rather Molly Harper to me now...

Wish it was longer. Ending could have been stronger but was still good. Waiting for the next one!
