As a reporter for his high school newspaper, Tom Harding was tracking the best story of his life - when, suddenly, his life turned very, very weird. He woke up one morning to find his house empty…his whole town empty…empty except for an eerie fog - and whatever creatures were slowly moving toward him through the fog. How did it happen? Is it real? Is he dreaming? Has there been a zombie apocalypse? Has he died and gone to hell? Tom is a good reporter, but no one has ever covered a story like this before. With the fog closing in and the hungry creatures of the fog surrounding him, he has only a few hours to find out how he lost the world he knew.

This was a very clean book. I had no idea what it would be about going into it. I just finished Werewolf Cop and randomly selected another title narrated by Andrew Klavan. This one gets better the longer you listen to it. This one is less gritty, it would be good for teens.

Continues to build up suspense throughout

As young adult fiction, this story is a bit more tame than Klavan's other works, but nonetheless just as meaningful and focused on the eternal fight between good and evil. An engaging listen that's good for the soul!

Great story!

I particularly enjoyed the characters, and the Christian perspective in the final part of the story.

Andrew Klavan, the book’s author, is also an awesome narrator.
