The story is good but I cannot get past the virtual voice. I wish an actual person had narrated this book.

I enjoyed this book - I listened to it with kindle whisper sync. I didn’t know, but the narrator is a virtual voice - it’s awful. I think I’ll check for the real voice actor audiobook. I actually knew something was off but couldn’t confirm until I saw it on audible and who was listed as the voice actor. The previews for the real audiobook sound awesome.

I enjoyed how she takes the paranormal with the nude twist. I mean some of it. I may have checked a little bit but interesting enough to make me wanna hear all the way to the end. I’m going to dive into book too however, the worst possible part is the narration done by AI. Would be so much better than by actual people.

I love paranormal and supernatural books and this caught my eye. The one I have has a different cover. I am also a retired nurse who worked nights mostly.
This is a cute book with interesting patients and a green nurse. She works on a special floor only for paranormal patients. She ends up getting herself in trouble with the vampire court. It ends incomplete but not a total cliffhanger. I rated it 3 1/2 stars rounding up to 4.

Weak, idiotic MC. Her justifications for her decisions are childish. Talks tough but puts herself in vulnerable situations.

The main character makes the worst decisions possible at every opportunity.
