It was a fun listen and a great little story of a group of goblins trying to survive in wartime and do the right thing. I wish there was more.

Adored just about every character and their quirks, not much world-building or history but it’s a short book so didn’t really expect any anyways. Would absolutely read more stories set in this world though especially if so much care is put into the characters. Goblin’s are always the bestest.

For over half of this novella, it was amusing but had a very hard time keeping my attention. It was just hard to care. The book did finally pick up and then it got quite good. It would have been nice if the 1st half were equally interesting.

The characters are so complete and fully enjoyable to get to know. The narrator does a great job of distinguishing between the speaker. I can listen to it multiple times and fully enjoy it each time.
