In Nine Lives and Alibis, Daybreak Island is gearing up for Halloween—but this year it seems like it'll be all tricks and no treats.

When Balfour is pushed off the cliffs behind the inn to his death and his beloved cat goes missing, it throws the whole town into a frenzy. And Maddie and her family find themselves in the middle of a murder mystery straight out of a Halloween movie.

Keep the woke junk out of this wonderful story and delightful characters! We already get that from TV and streaming services. I don’t want it in the books I read. Do NOT feel pressured to cave and put this in your wonderful story. It doesn’t add anything to the story and makes me want to boycott purchasing more! I want to escape and enjoy the cozy mystery!!! ❤️❤️❤️
