Now let's be clear, I wasn't expecting a thrilling epic novel that could captivate and hold my attention here! I knew this was just a study helper for a drab, boring, civil test. I also know Ms. DiRoma has a good and professional reputation in her universe. But that being said, MY GOD this a hard listen! It is a mind numbing, dull, monotone, flat reading of already painfully uninteresting material. The hour (& change) I listened to it felt like a full day. So, so dry. I suppose it is technically accurate. But I really feel it could have been modified a little. I'm sure with a little heart invested it could have been a little more interesting. Maybe by alternating the flat reading of glossary items with some personality and real-world explanations this could have been less agonizing. I may try her online video based stuff, or maybe something in person. I'll start research on that now. Because she seems cool, and the clock it ticking for me! I'm taking this exam in a week!

Frustrated and Tired

The content is boring. Everyone knows that. I wasn’t expecting an exciting novel.
I’m not so sure that all the information is accurate. I check the dates and made the purchase based on the audible date. The date at the end of the recording is 1999/1998 or something. Fees have changed since then.
The book mainly covers definitions. With a bit of added information. Listened while driving to gather more knowledge and make use of my time during my commute the week of my exam.
