Good story but was the person reading the book trying to earn his way into the Guinness book of world records by reading the fastest? I had to slow the speed down on my device.

the story was good and suspenseful. the concept of power and the hunt helped keep me interested in the book. the narrator read very fast and seemed disinterested in the story.

Ted Dekker is a favorite of mine. My thanks to Audible for keeping me awake driving back and forth from the hospital!

This review is not for the book but the audible version. Not satisfied for what i paid. This audio book is a shortened version of the book. It literally skips over certain sentences and even paragraphs. I would like a refund please

Unfortunately, it has finally happened. I have had to scrap a book from Audible. This one was made truly dreadful by the reading rather than the text. Herbert read as though he was trying to cram a four hour book into 30 minutes and made it an irritant to hear and try to follow. I am sure the basic story was probably worth hearing but not in this circumstance. Give it a miss and go with Stephen Pacey.
