Wolf Macklin returned from war whole in body but scared in mind and soul. An orphan, he had no family to turn to. But he settled in the town in which he grew up, cobbled together a life, and learned a new job while he fought the demons of his past. Eric was a street punk, an omega wolf raised in a pack isolated from the shifter community. Shunned by his alpha father for being an omega, he was forced to fend for himself on the streets. Life was hard for an omega since he was smaller than other shifters. But he had Trick, another shifter without a pack, and together they survived. But things changed radically when Trick proposed stealing wallets for money, with Eric as designated thief. Things didn’t work out as planned, and Eric was cornered by a very angry and handsome alpha shifter who didn’t seem to know what he was.

When Eric is kidnapped, Wolf learns more about the shifter world and himself than he dreamed possible. But can he save Eric in time from a twister shifter to use Eric in a perverted plan to gain power?

I was extremely pleased with this story!!! I didnt much like the first one I'd listened to by this same author (it had a horrible narrator as well) but this story has more than made up for it!!

The narrator is gold. I hope he continues narrating books because he's very good at it and made the story all that much better! Seriously, kudos to Gus Klondide!!!

So, setting aside the odd concept that an Alpha shifter would not know that he was a shifter...this was an interesting book. I did enjoy the high-jinx's of Eric. Wolf was an interesting character. The dynamic between the two was engaging and I wanted this couple to have the HEA. What I enjoyed most, was learning more of the back-story of the pack. The story provided insight into some of the questions I previous had with the other two books. An enjoyable listen...

This book continues the story of the second and expands on the east coast shifter world. The story ends abruptly and it doesn’t seem there are other books in the work but if it is the end I’m okay with it.

I enjoyed this story. Characters well liked. Lance Briggs has a talent, and Gus Klondike did a good job in bringing each character to life. The only complaint I have is that the story was to short. I needed more. Other than that, well done. If your looking for a quick enjoyable Alpha/Omega/Shifter story, I recommend this book.🙂
