What happened to that girl?

What happened to the girl who was not afraid to climb to the top of the waterfall and jump? Who backpacked across Europe? Who took on any feat of bravery without batting an eyelash? You wouldn't recognize her - she's become that woman paralyzed by fear, scared to death to trust God, and trying to manage her family's hectic life, financial crises (yes, plural), and family issues on her own steam.

Asking always, "Does God truly love me?"

Relatable, touching, and yet hopeful, On the Other Side of Fear is the beautiful story of how one young woman learned to live in God's will, without fear.

The book is great! The narrator could use some work. She is consistently mispronounces the author’s name and multiple other words. I would love for the author to narrate this book, as it’s really great!! Unfortunately, the narrator sounds like she is reading instead of narrating.

Book is great. Narration could use some work.

What a beautiful witness about how God helps us fight our fears and invites us to a welcome adventure ahead!

DO NOT BE AFRAID

Engaging Catholic memoir marred by stilted, robotic narration, many pronunciation mistakes and inconsistencies. I'd recommend reading rather than listening.

Good Stories, Weak Narration

What disappointed you about On the Other Side of Fear?

This is so not what I was expecting. She spends the whole time talking about her kids and husband and God. Very Christian. I was expecting something more insightful, spiritual and philosophical. Not religious. I'm sorry, this is quite cheesy.

I couldn't finish the second chapter
