In the past, Lady Iris Keene had designs to marry Daniel Andrews, the Earl of Hampstead. After a devastating rejection from the earl she decided he wouldn't do, but once a heart is given it's difficult to retrieve. Something Iris discovers when she crosses paths with the scoundrel a year later...

The last thing Daniel wants is to become involved with Lady Iris Keene, but he's drawn to her, and always has been. That was why he had to push her away. Marriage is not something he wants or needs.

At a house party, the two of them cross paths more than either would like. Along the way they have to decide if they're going to continue fighting what is in their hearts or give in to it.

The second twin gets her revenge and her happily ever after as she once again is in close proximity to her crush. New characters are introduced and previous characters are given updates on their lives. I recommend reading the series in order.

This is the third book in the Scandalous Gentlemen Series, a Regency Romance. Iris and Daniel's story is fast-paced, sweet, passionate, and heartwarming. They are two strong characters. Their story is filled with push and pull. The storyline is engaging. The supporting characters are interesting. Harry Frost did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I like his voice. This is a great team author/narrator. I enjoyed it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Iris and Daniel story. Daniel rejected her at first then later in a gathering, really see her and seems he fell in love with her. Not sure initially if it is love, lust or because he was starting to feel and consider permanent companionship. There was a steamy scene that I thought would force them. I did like the transformation of Daniel, though I wish for a longer romance/courtship kind of period. Nevetherless, it was a nice HEA especially for Iris .

Good for an afternoon story

(NOTE: This series should also be called "constant ladies of the Ton." These ladies remain constant with their feelings for these scandalous gentlemen.
