Recommend author and book. Laura Jennings is a brilliant narrator and just the voice I imagined when I read the book. Recommend.

I've read this title before but it's one of those that I will periodically pickup and read again. Despite how everything played out between Leigh and Jodie, destiny was ultimately fulfilled. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.

Being a romantic, I truly believe there is only one person in our existence who can complete us. Sadly, we may never actually meet that person. Or perhaps our paths may briefly intertwine and then pass into nothingness. But for the lucky few, there that moment when you meet and know that this is the one and only one.
Tragically, we often make decisions or mistakes which drive us apart, and here in lies this precious tale of two such people.
Filled with loads of angst, and tears that at some point you feel that there is little hope for a happy ending.
But of course Ms. Bliss would never let us close the book shedding tears over a tragic ending 😭.
There is loads of heat here, and lots of kinky sex, but it is not gratuitous, but really allows us inside the heads of the two main characters.
Also, thanks to Ms. Jennings for using her talents to give believable voice to each character.

I guess absence really does make the heart grow fonder. They never really fell out of love with each other they just chose different paths. Time and distance can never really end a love like theirs. Of course the sexual chemistry was off the charts. Great narrator for this story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It held my attention throughout, wondering if these love-at-first-sight women would be able to overcome their differences and stay together forever. No tragic love here, and that is just what we need to know these days.
