Valentina Winters, the alter ego of Isabella Carter, is still at it. She's described as an assassin but she hardly seems that kind of person. She's always knocking someone out or shooting them in the leg or arm, but not out-n-out killing them. In this one Archie has disappeared with Kit and now it looks like she'll have to team up with Deng to find them. Unfortunately, the book leaves you hanging and the next book is on KU but it isn't on audible yet. That certainly sucks.

Romance is fade-to-black again and the F-bomb was used 40 times.

As for the narration: Susan Duerden does a fabulous job narrating this series.
