The greatest threat to America… is America itself.

When CIA operative Maya Reeves is betrayed by her mentor and left for dead in a botched mission in Ankara, she uncovers a conspiracy so explosive it could shatter the nation from within. Operation Black Dawn isn’t a foreign plot—it’s a domestic nightmare, engineered by America’s own intelligence elite.

Hunted by her government, cut off from allies, and armed only with a stolen laptop of encrypted files, Maya must team up with NSA cryptologist Jack Chen—the man she once loved and lost. Together, they race against time to expose a false-flag operation designed to plunge the United States into chaos.

From the shadowy streets of Istanbul to the halls of Washington power, every move brings them closer to the truth—and closer to a deadly reckoning with the man who trained her. But when the attacks begin, saving America may come at the cost of everything Maya has left.

Perfect for fans of Jason Bourne, Tom Clancy, and Brad Thor, Operation Black Dawn is a pulse-pounding espionage thriller packed with betrayal, conspiracies, and nonstop action.

I just finished Operation Black Dawn and I have to say, it felt like being on the edge of my seat the whole time. Maya Reeves is so real and relatable, even in the middle of all the chaos, her fear, her determination, and the betrayal she faces really hit home.

I listened to this on Audible, and the story kept my attention from start to finish. The plot moves quickly, the action is steady, and Maya is a solid lead with a compelling arc. The conspiracy angle and the twists were fun to follow. The narration could be smoother in a few spots, but it did not take away from the overall experience. I still enjoyed the listen and thought the story made it worthwhile.

This story moves quickly and never loses focus. Maya feels believable caught in something far bigger than she expected. The tension stays high from the opening scene all the way through. The action is tight, the conspiracy thread is clear, and the narration keeps the pace steady without getting in the way. It is a short listen (longer than a movie) but it still manages to feel complete and satisfying. If you want something direct and fast with a lead who carries the whole thing on her shoulders, this is worth it.
