“Protect the Innocent and be the Blade of Justice.” - the Executioners’ motto Jim St. John is concerned with becoming too visible, too soon. His Executioners have shed blood to become an ever-increasing force against “scum and villainy”— their name, a terrifying whisper for those who think themselves above the law, a force of light for those crushed by such ne’er-do-wells ... and the law itself. In light of this, the Executioners are quickly pulled into a malicious war with the manufacturer of a new and powerful “recreational” drug. But has this unseasoned group of vigilantes bitten off too much, too soon? After all, this new drug czar reigns with unlimited funds, an army of mercenaries, and an arsenal of illegal weaponry ... and, apparently, isn’t afraid to use them. Damned, the second volume in the Panteria Chronicles. Join the ride. Heads are about to roll… ..................................... Author's NOTES: Please keep in mind that the first book in series before this one, Panteria Chronicles: Fallen, is more of a character-introduction piece. Therefore, despite strong language and some violence, it does not have quite the level of beheadings as the later books... ..................................... Publisher’s Note: On Sale for $1.42 from $2.99. Thank you for the consideration ... We do apologize for the bawdy language--the author insists that it is necessary for both context and plot. We figure that he's just doing it because he uses F-bombs for punctuation in his daily life, and believes everyone, for some reason, speaks that way. Also, since we're an Indie-house ... C'est la vie... Hmm, French ... well, that does bring up another topic: Being that this book is based in the future, not all of the characters in this book may actually speak English or a understandable dialect. However, although some of dialogue in ancient/alien languages as LB wanted to, we decided that it would be easier for the reader if we provided the best English equivalent ... unless the story necessitated an ancient or foreign word here or there.
