I like the way Dave told his story. Great comedian! Love the guy! This is a must listen, but for mature listeners only.

Life can be really hard. Fate can be particularly cruel to the young. How this man slugged through those terrible cards dealt to him in his youth to become a great comedian is a terrific story. I liked this book so much, I bought it for two of my buddies that I grew up with. We grew up not far from Dave, 10 years ahead of him, and nowhere near as hard. We grew up in the cheap seats; East Detroit, St Clair Shores, Warren, we always thought that Grosse Pointers had it easy. Growing up is hard wherever you are, but the pain we had? not even CLOSE to what this young man went through.
Listen to this book and you’ll thank me for the recommendation it’s excellent especially if you’re of a particular age.

I preordered the print version, but decided to wait for the audio instead of reading the paper version. I listened to it straight through and went to work the next day on two hours of sleep and a lot of caffeine, but it was worth it. If he has a show anywhere near you, don't miss it!

This is a great book. What's even better is that it isn't super polished. Its authentic and that is a rare thing these days. Great job and I hope you write more.
