I am just so thrilled to have more Harry Dresden in my life! This book is everything I had hoped it would be and I am chomping at the bit for the next one. The long wait for this book felt like an eternity but finally having it feels like getting to visit a long, lost friend and picking up right where you left off without missing a single beat. Harry is back! That's all that matters.

So good after such a long wait!

Jim Butcher you Wiley bastard. That cliffhanger will have me sweating for weeks. Your a madman, but I respect your craft.

As usual James is in top form, bringing life and emotion to Butchers work, making you feel the stress and emotion of the characters as they try to face off against that which is greater than they.

I eagerly await the next audiobook, to see the upcoming storm in it's full power.

That Cliffhanger.

I really like this series and was hoping this would be the same as all the other great books in the Series. It just kind of missed the mark. I was hoping that Dresden would find a way out of his obligations to the Queen and that we might hear a backstory on Mac..(I would love him to be a x winter night pirates of the Caribbean style) but the characters we've come to love and know are not as involved in this book. it seemed to stop just as it was starting the normal Charlie Brown scenario as Harry gets his head of steam. it's like the first half of a book and the second half of the story will come out later in another book. it just seemed to end too quickly. and the characters we all love of mouse and toot toot we're not as prevalent if at all.. I won't give up I'll wait for the next book and hope that he finishes the story. My fingers are crossed that's a wizard wins again...

love the series this one missed a little

James Marsters changed the voices of some side characters (Mab and Ramirez). The story was also shorter than the others near it in the series. I felt a little unsatisfied at the end. Butcher still did an amazing job capturing the intricacies of relationship and character development while keeping the magic and political sphere exciting. I'll never NOT love a Dresden files book.

Short but well written
