This was another great listen. No long drawn out internal monologues here, just a humorous pairing and a fun ride. I listen to audiobooks while I’m working so I appreciate when the story moves along without any extra “filler.” This one was also a bit of a who-done-it, which I really liked, it was different enough from the first in the series to not feel like a rehash on the same story.

I liked the heroine because she was a bad ass. I also felt she was a little too mean but it was understandable because of her past. I really liked the hero because he was realistic.

This was a light and entertaining book that kept me on the edge of my seat with all the fun twists and turns. Enjoyed the action and whodunnit aspects so much it felt like the romance bit was just interfering!
