I enjoyed this book. It was mostly standard zombie stuff but there was a little twist! The main character is snarky and easy to like. The plot moved quickly and never got boring!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you love zombies you will love this story. This is the hipness of Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets The Walking Dead.

What about Dana Fredsti’s performance did you like?

She is an actress apparently & you can tell because the narration is so intense. The only problem I had is that the audio quality seemed muffled in a few spots but her performance is dead on.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I actually LOVED how the book would move between the main story to a zombie perspective for a short time. It was (thanks to the music) always obvious when this was occurring & it just added to the tenseness of the story.

I’ve been in a book slump and going on a road trip.. this book saved me hours of boredom! It held my attention and there were no dumb people trying to rape and pillage after 5 min of a zombie outbreak. Author was a good narrator and never distracted from the story. Solid 4 for me.
