A rookie postal inspector hunts a postal bomber as police search for the wrong man! Set in Tucson and Phoenix, where I worked for 20 years as a postal clerk, retiring early in 2009 to do more writing. See memoir Post Office Confidential. The story needs no update as it fits today's headlines about shootings and bombings, and border tensions with targeted immigrants and social services costs.

The author and the narrator make a terrific team when they work together on audiobooks.
This book was exciting from the first chapter. Good character development, at times I was a little lost but it was my fault for not listening to the book quickly enough. Events in the book mimic real life events that happened at postal service.
The book had good flow; each chapter encouraged me to continue listening to figure out who was the bad guy in the story.
Well done all around.

I loved that this story was unpredictable and I was invested the entire time. There was no downtime it was riveting. I also liked that certain aspects of the story were hidden until near the end so I did not know what the outcome would be in that situation. This isn't my usual reading genre but I'm glad I stepped outside my box. Of course, the narration was the chef's kiss.
