I was on the fence with the summary. I gave it a try and it was so much more with lots of unexpected twists. I will read more by this author.

Small town vibes. The story really doesn’t make sense with why her best friend did what she did. There needed to be more of a backstory to her, besides she really loved Beckett

I don't usually like this kind of book. But something about the writing, and pacing of the story kept drawing me on. MC did some really dumb things. I almost stopped reading. But I made it to the freaking ending. Totally freaked out.

I listened to this audiobook for an hour and a half. The plot is very slow. Perhaps a different narrator could’ve put some life into it but I just couldn’t finish it.
