I love being able to know the characters just from the sound... the narrator is so right on with the voices of each character!

man the author knows how to leave you hanging and waiting for more. I love how she ties in her books, with Val, Maddy and Arwin. can't wait for next book.

Each book gets better and better, I like how the romance builds slowly between the characters and isn't the main focus of the book. Arwen's character is also becoming more self assured and interesting. Amber of course adds lots of humor. I can't wait for the next book.

Main female character comes off as weak, ineffectual, or overly fearful of hurting or killing. To me, she has no backbone.
Narrator is amazing and creates an enjoyable, listening experience with factual voice changes and moods, as well as as a way to vocalize cell phone calls.
I love this author’s books. Some of them are very creative and the characters are very strong. This one was not as good and I wonder if this was written by a ghost rider instead of her.

Dash and Arin seem to be connected on a mental visceral level. compared to death before dragons Val and Lord zaveris they seem to be more of a physical attraction. I am really enjoying the extended world that has been created being able to travel to other planets the descriptions of each planet is really exciting. having half dragons and half dark elves really made this series stand out. I really enjoyed this book it was going to be my favorite all the way till the epilogue and then you ruined it just kidding it's a cliffhanger and now I can't wait to get to book six or five I think this is book 4 so I hopefully there's another one already out that I can find!

Loved the relationship, the dragons, and half mongrels.
