So sad this is the end of this series but so happy I found it! Ravenscroft reluctantly ends his career but doves the murders!

All of the Ravenscroft mysteries are enjoyable to read/listen too. The writing and narration are excellent. Each character comes alive throughout the stories. Relaxing with these mysteries is time well spent.

I enjoyed the adventures of Inspector Ravenscroft and his sidekick, Sargent Crabb. There were some unexpected plot twists throughout the series. Enjoyable.

I’m giving this story a 3 only because I hate to rate it lower… but honestly I didn’t listen to but a quarter of it or less. I am totally uninterested and do not desire to listen to, read about, or even consider seances and spiritualists and all their mumbo jumbo. And the ending of this book was the most disappointing and the least surprising. Just was kind of let down that this was the final book in the series. Any one of the others would have been better. But it is a great series and I thoroughly liked Ravenscroft.
