Reality-TV love may look tempting, but real love could change everything in the debut novel from the Bachelorette star and author of Miss Me with That.

Maya Johnson lives her life according to The Plan: to become the youngest-ever female director of her company, marry her college sweetheart, and build a fabulous life in Miami. Seeing as she’s almost near checking every last one of those items off her list, she doesn’t feel the need to go on the nationally beloved reality dating show Real Love. So when she’s offered the chance, she turns it down and tells the producers that her best friend, Delilah, should take part instead.

But as she watches Delilah become the lead, fall in love, and change her life, Maya begins to wonder if she’s as happy as she thought—she doesn't have much in the way of a work-life balance, her relationship isn’t quite where she thinks it should be, and very little in her life is sparking joy.

When Maya's free-spirited whirlwind of a little sister, Ella, blows into town for a surprise visit, Maya finds herself newly intrigued by Ella’s unrooted existence—and she’s equally intrigued by Ella’s gorgeous friend and fellow world traveler, Kai.

At a crossroads with both her professional and personal happiness, Maya will have to decide which path to choose: The Plan she’s worked so hard for, or something new entirely.

Such a nice and refreshing book. Loved it from beginning to end! I cannot wait to read more from Rachel, I’ve loved reading both books she’s released so far.

Rachel Lindsay did a great job narrating in her quick snippets and was way better than the actual reader. The narrator here drove me crazy.

I wish Rachel read this herself

This is the second novel by Rachel Lindsay and just like her first book it’s witty, refreshing and funny. Loved this book! It’s a Contemporary Romance about a 29 year old uptight woman, Mya, who finds safety and stability in numbers both professionally and personally so much than she fears change of any kind. That’s obvious by her decade long stagnate relationship with Vonn, her college love. She’s on the cusp of achieving her life long goal of making Sr. Executive at the financial investment firm when on a whim she and her best friends/colleagues audition for the newest reality television dating show, Real Love.

There are so many hilarious moments but the one good one without giving away more plot was the sexy lingerie scenario Mya used to recuse her & Vonn’s dead on arrival relationship is ….. priceless.

All’s I want to know is when Rach is going to pen Book #2 featuring lil sister Ella finding her Real Love!

Set the listening speed to 1.2 for better audio results.

I like how Rachel narrated the blogger. I really hate the ending. We better get a sequel.

The ending!! Seattle, I’m assuming because she said rain boots?! I like the conversation she had with Bailey at the end. That showed real growth and maturity.
