What if high fantasy but the monsters... were misunderstood? What if portal fantasy but... the protagonist knew the progression mechanics beforehand through video games? What if the mechanic meant to aid the protagonist... was snarky and unhelpful? What if when the protagonist was given the choice of betraying his kind he... was apathetic? What if during the world-saving quest the hero... found it funny?
