A sizzling international romance about an unlikely matchup between an Irish footballer who likes to play the field and a shoe designer with her own ambitions from Open Play author JN Welsh.

After Charlotte Bowman hooks up with hot Irish footballer Eoghan O’Farrell, she doesn’t expect to see him again. For one thing, she’s too busy for romance. She’s got her designer shoe company, a globe-trotting best friend to keep up with, and a frenetic lifestyle in New York City.

But when an elite Irish soccer team reaches out to Charlotte about designing a shoe for its star player, she can’t believe it. Could her random hookup be the celebrity footballer with a penchant for new cleats?

Yes, as it turns out. But Eoghan isn’t just a flashy soccer player. For Charlotte, he’s a professional opportunity—a chance to convert her small business into a juggernaut. She’s hoping they can move past the fact that they’ve seen each other naked.

Eoghan’s up for it, too, of course. But there’s a reason they fell into bed that first time.

The story was good and the characters were believable, the male narrator was not good for Kalen. Char's medical condition could have been explained in more detail.

I love Charlotte! She’s bold, confident assertive but, she has her doubts which are reasonable for her character. She goes after what she wants but, she listens and takes sage advice. After book one I thought Owen was kind of a jerk but, this book made me feel for him. Charlotte was the right woman for him bold enough to handle him.

Excellent!

New author to me. It’s always great when you find a new 1-click or my credit goes to… JM Nelson has fully fleshed out characters that will have you sighing, laughing and rooting for that happy ending.

So I’m not gotten through this book yet, but I felt like I needed to write my review now I want to get through the book but I don’t need the flamboyant gay best friend or assistant. It’s just too much and has really nothing to do with the story that we’re supposed to be getting of these two individuals. Again, this author seems to really focus and be a advocate for being promiscuous sexually yet every single time that seems to be the major conflict. The women are too promiscuous and as a result, it affects them professionally. I’m opinion keep your address down your draws up. But yeah, cute story so far.

Was really ready for this book because I was never a big Owen fan, could use less pro LGBT stuff
