This series ass a random library pick and I've been hooked since the very first one. The characters are great, the dialog is snappy, and the plot kept me hooked. The performance is excellent as well

Adam has really grown and matured since the first book and the series is doing so with him. As usual, his need to care for and protect the people that matter to him drives him into difficult situations but it's that love that makes him so much stronger.

I was really glad Mr. Slayton didn't stop this series at the trilogy and I'm excited to see more books in the future.
