This was a strong second book in the series and continued the story really well. Davyn’s darker past and personal struggles added a lot of emotion and intensity to the plot, and I enjoyed seeing more depth to his character. I enjoyed book one, but I actually liked book two even better. Overall, it was a good listen with well-done narration, and I’ll definitely be moving on to book three.

Author K.A. Finn’s concise, clear writing delivers an immersive story rich in vivid detail and emotional depth. Each character is fully developed and compelling, their strength and vulnerability woven into descriptions that tug at the heart. The dialogue seamlessly elevates the narrative, enhancing the plot with precision and authenticity. With unexpected twists and a solid, engaging narrative, the author creates a world that pulls readers in completely and holds them tight from beginning to end.

Narrator Julian Franklin speaks with clarity and control, projecting exactly the right emotion for each situation while maintaining consistent, distinct voices for every character. His tonal inflections are well-judged, and his smooth delivery, steady cadence, and deliberate pauses all work together to support the fluid, engaging storyline. He uses his voice with skill and intention, keeping the listener fully immersed from beginning to end.

If you enjoy a blend of romance and action, this is a fantastic choice. While it isn’t a standalone entry, the author has crafted it in a way that remains easy and enjoyable to follow.

Reviving Davyn by K. A. Finn is an excellent paranormal fantasy. Julian Franklin did an incredible job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, enjoyable, romantic heartfelt, funny, and more. Reviving Davyn is the second book in Blackjacks series. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.
